With The Human e-Contract, Danløn met SMEs at the exact moment they needed HR most—during hiring. The campaign doubled product sales in its first month, while positioning Danløn HR as a brand that values people, not just processes.


Challenge

In Denmark, two-thirds of all private sector employees work in SMEs. Few of these companies have dedicated HR resources, which means the human aspect is often overlooked in everyday business.

To make HR accessible for all businesses—regardless of size or industry—Danløn launched a digital HR solution under the brand Danløn HR. But in a market where HR is often perceived as an unnecessary and costly luxury, penetrating the SME segment proved more difficult than expected.


Solution

By analysing data and user insights, we identified the exact moments when the need for HR is most critical: during the hiring process. Too many employers rely on generic contracts found online, missing the opportunity to reflect company values and strengthen their employer brand.

We set a new standard with The Human e-Contract—a contract designed not just to comply with the law, but to highlight the company’s respect for its employees as individuals. By positioning the employment contract as a reflection of corporate values, we helped SMEs see HR not as a burden, but as a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining talent.

The contract was made available through a dedicated, SEO-optimised microsite, ensuring top rankings for relevant searches. Employers searching for standard contracts would instead discover our improved template, complete with recommendations for creating agreements that benefit both the employee and the company. Additional awareness was created through targeted content on LinkedIn and trade media, emphasising how Danløn HR solves everyday administrative challenges for SMEs.


Result

The Human e-Contract quickly became more than a marketing campaign—it positioned Danløn HR as a brand with genuine human values. In its very first month, the campaign generated explosive web traffic, with 65% of visitors downloading the contract, and sales of Danløn HR doubled.

A simple yet highly effective initiative, the campaign not only marketed the product but allowed companies to tell their own story through the way they treat employees. By meeting SMEs at the exact moment of need, Danløn HR was established as a solution that makes a difference far beyond the bottom line.
