Unilabs has launched a new digital portal that delivers a seamless end-to-end experience for doctors and staff. With real-time integrations and data insights from Power BI, processes are streamlined, efficiency is boosted, and more life-critical samples can be handled in less time.


Challenge

Unilabs analyses samples and delivers results to doctors worldwide. Their existing portal was outdated, both visually and functionally, and the underlying processes were only partly supported digitally. At the same time, the organisation needed deeper insights from data, a modern “state-of-the-art” user experience, and greater efficiency in critical processes such as sample logistics and result delivery.


Solution

In partnership with NexusOne, Unilabs launched a new medical portal designed to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience for both doctors and Unilabs employees. The portal integrates with internal and external systems, ensuring real-time updates whether it’s the pickup time at a clinic or the delivery of analysis results online.

Microsoft Power BI provides valuable insights by consolidating data across the solution, enabling detailed reporting and improved decision-making. The new architecture ensures that processes are efficient, data is reliable, and all stakeholders have the information they need exactly when they need it.


Result

The new portal has significantly improved the experience for both Unilabs staff and the doctors they serve. By creating an end-to-end digital journey, time wasted on manual or fragmented processes has been eliminated. Doctors now spend more time with their patients, while Unilabs employees can analyse and deliver more life-critical samples in less time—improving both efficiency and impact.
